Kacie Whaley is a dedicated Behavioral Intervention Specialist with over 19 years of experience supporting students in achieving both academic and personal growth. She has primarily worked with emotionally disabled middle and high school students, helping them build confidence, independence, and self-reliance.

Beyond traditional classroom roles, Kacie has applied her expertise as a daycare center manager and preschool teacher, revitalizing programs to meet the diverse needs of children at all ages. These experiences give her a unique perspective on supporting learners across developmental stages.

Kacie holds a Master’s in Special Education from the University of Miami, a Bachelor of Science in Language Arts and Social Studies from Wright State University, and is a licensed K–12 Intervention Specialist. She is thrilled to be part of The Need to Read, where she continues to guide students toward academic success and personal empowerment through the gift of reading.
