Beginning Green Level
Based on your answers, your student needs to start at the very beginning. The Beginning Green Level builds letter recognition, phonemic awareness and foundational reading skills from the ground up — perfect for younger students or those with significant reading challenges.
What is included in the Beginning Green Level:
- Letter sounds and phonemic awareness
- Double vowel digraphs and sight words
- Open and vowel-consonant-e syllable patterns
- Vocabulary development and penmanship
- Students typically reach a 2nd grade reading level
Basic Blue Level
Your student knows the basics but needs structured support to build real reading fluency and confidence. The Basic Blue Level is the most popular starting point and works for students from grades 3 through 12.
What is included in the Basic Blue Level:
- R-controlled and closed syllable patterns
- Diphthongs, spelling options and prepositions
- Grammar including nouns, verbs and adjectives
- Mnemonic clues and multi-sensory activities
- Students typically reach a 4th grade reading level
Intermediate Peach Level
Your student is ready for more advanced material. The Intermediate Peach Level tackles complex spelling patterns, grammar and comprehension — building toward a 7th grade reading level.
What is included in the Intermediate Peach Level:
- Consonant-le syllable patterns and prefixes and suffixes
- Latin, Greek and Anglo-Saxon word roots
- Irregular vowel patterns
- Science and social studies based reading content
- Students typically reach a 7th grade reading level
