Educational Consultant

With a Ph.D. in Educational Philosophy and extensive experience in special education, Tom has dedicated his career to improving literacy outcomes for students with diverse learning needs.

Over the years, Tom has served as an Intervention Specialist, Special Education Supervisor, and Director of Special Education, as well as an Adjunct Faculty member at several Ohio universities. Through his work training educators and leading professional development across various reading programs, he has become a steadfast advocate for preserving effective, research-based tools like the Stevenson Learning Skills Program.

When he’s not working with educators, Tom enjoys motorcycling and hiking with his wife, Janet, in Ohio’s scenic Hocking Hills. He also volunteers with his son, Erich, on the Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, and values time spent in Bible study and community fellowship. Based in Bremen, Ohio, Tom brings both professional expertise and personal dedication to his lifelong mission: empowering readers, teachers, and families through the gift of literacy.
